A society inbuilt by its very own principles and ideas, one can be guaranteed to leave the place with a different perspective towards celestial nirvana or at times the truth of life.

2. Cholamandal Artist Village

Chennai is everything art and culture, and the Cholamandal Artist Village is a fitting testimony to the city’s affinity to it. Since its inception in 1966, the art village has been an art gallery, an art museum, an amphitheatre and everything ‘art’!. 

3. Adyar Eco Park

Life every day isn’t a walk in the park, but a visit to the Adyar Eco Park could be one (Pun intended). The vast acres of this iconic park is a must-visit if you are in Chennai. Being one of you could also feel free to pay a visit to the Snake park nearby!

4. Tirusulam Mount

The mount is one of the very few places that reflects the metro in a different light. Though public entry has been restricted due to its proximity to the airport, a platform ticket at the Tirusulam Railway station between 4 pm – 6 pm, your favourite playlist plugged in, and a sunset to behold – is an experience from yours truly Chennai!

5. Ottiambakkam Quarry

The Quarry is quite an experience altogether. Tranquil green waters hidden away from the music of the metro city, the quarry is a disparate space inside the city’s landscape. Feel free to take a dip, but make sure you know to swim, the water’s deep!
